El sistema Aerotow es un sistema en el cual un avión ultraligero (llamado Aeroremolque o Dragonfly) remolca un ala delta hasta la altura deseada. Este sistema se utiliza actualmente alrededor del mundo en la mayoría de escuelas debido a que es la forma mas segura de introducir a las personas al mundo del vuelo libre.
No solo permite volar a personas que no tienen ningún tipo de experiencia sino que hoy por hoy es la manera más segura para dictar cursos de vuelo a futuros pilotos de hang glider.
